Conversion rate is a percentage metric calculated by dividing the number of people reached by the number of people who completed a desired conversion action, such as submitting a form, registering for an event, subscribing to a newsletter, or any activity other than just browsing a web page. For example, if you sent a survey to 100 people and 25 people completed the survey, the conversion rate would be 25%.
