The Bounce rate metric, commonly used in Google Analytics dashboards, shows you what percentage of web page visitors leave the web page before further exploring other pages on your website. Generally, the lower the bounce rate the better. While the bounce rate metric is not common in sales funnels (as visitors generally only have one call to action on each page within a sales funnel) it is still a valuable metric for tracking the effectiveness of a blogging strategy or when “time on site” is important to the business model.
